Windmill Island Gardens, located at the edge of downtown Holland, is a beautiful seasonal garden. In the spring, over 100,000 tulips decorate the grounds. In the summer, the gardens are replaced with a blend of perennials, shrubs, and trees. De Zwaan Windmill is America's only authentic, working Dutch windmill. There are available tours to learn about the windmill's history and function, and you can also bring home a bag of mill-ground flour.
